I’m Jem, a painter and printmaker located in north Essex, UK.
I studied for a degree in Fine Art at Colchester School of Art where I also became interested in printmaking.
I now work full-time creating artworks that draw inspiration from the East Anglian countryside and coast, with a focus on its nature and wildlife.

My prints are created with a blend of traditional methods including linocut reduction and drypoint, others are combined with more experimental mono print techniques which makes them more unique.

Oil paintings are inspired by moments of observation on location in the form of sketches, photographs and plein air painting.
