These seconds have minor issues with inking and in the sky (pale blue layer) there is a slight imprint/line made by the edge of the lino block during pressing, so these few prints didn't make the final series
 
This is an A3 sized print entitled 'Oak & Buttercups'
Printed on Somerset Satin 300g paper (white)
The printed area is 30x40cm and there's a wide plain paper border left around the print with a deckled edge
 
It was printed in the reduction method style, using one sheet of lino. Each colour layer is printed then cut away from the plate making it a limited edition print.
This contains 8 layers
 
The image for this print was inspired by a walk in late May near an old oak tree in Mistley (Essex, UK). I tried to capture the greens of late spring and the contrasting yellow buttercups against the blue sky.
