This is an A3 sized print entitled 'Oak & Buttercups'
Printed on Somerset Satin 300g paper (white)
 
Series of 9 prints
 
The printed area is 30x40cm and there's a wide plain paper border left around the print with a deckled edge
 
It was printed in the reduction method style, using one sheet of lino. Each colour layer is printed then cut away from the plate making it a limited edition print.
This contains 8 layers
 
Each print is hand numbered and signed on the front
 
The image for this print was inspired by a walk in late May near an old oak tree in Mistley (Essex, UK). I tried to capture the greens of late spring and the contrasting yellow buttercups against the blue sky.
 
Prints are unmounted and unframed
 
Within the UK I will send these prints flat
 
I do have one framed version of this print but because it contains glass I am reluctant to attempt posting.
